i had a really really beautiful christmas & new year.
having the whole family down for christmas mass, it's probably like the only time when my daddy and my danny go... (:
so i do love christmas!
& then christmas lunch at my porpor's place is a tradition!!
family, extended family, friends, boyfriends & girlfriends, neighbours etc
everyone just seems to gather there.
and their manger was so pretty!
all colourfully lit.
so warm & welcoming. i really really love my family.

then christmas dinner with danny's family!
cold crab yumyum! and then we all squeezed home and up to the rooftop!
it's damn romantic. (even with the whole family there haha)
with fresh breeze coming from the mountain nearby, carrying on it the light scent of frangipani.
we lit candles (although they kept being blown out by the breeze)
and played music. seriously awesome.
my favourite view is of the artistic frangipani starkly silhouetted against the cloudy grey sky.
it somehow reminds me of stormy lightning caught in action.
hahah i've told danny that he shld rent it out for valentine's day.

and for new year!!!
celebrations started with steamboat dinner at home with all my relatives over.
hah there were many many many many mushrooms!!!! the different types. i like! so soft and juicy and chewy.
not much meat cause my dad is turning towards a healthier (vegetarian) diet.
so with danny dreaming of more meat to come, we zoomed over to max's place to join the party.
hahah it was deceptively calm and quiet in front, we thought the party had moved...
but once we hit the backyard...
woah! music lights and people!!
and melt-in-the-mouth barbequed chicken wings. ohlala.
hah i dont think the poor neighbours got to sleep til dawn.
lol if i spread out all the laughter of that one night over the whole 2009, i think i can say that i would be a sufficiently happy girl for the year to come! :D
the game was damn funny! stupid rules and hilarious ppl.
i had a great countdown, thanks!
only problem was that that boy dint do what is customary to do at midnight... hmph! hahaha. and what lame excuses.. lol. i love you all the same.

more eating at this jap buffet place with danny's family and relatives.
ate surprisingly (or not) a lot!

and then the absolutely lovely rush for SOMETHING.

hahaha all the clues and hints and my gusses but he wouldnt reveal.
not like long time ago when i could guess where he was bringing me to.. phantom of the opera aye ;)
heheh he knows better now. so sneaky & mysterious.
argh and even when we collected it, i couldnt open it!!!

hahaha until finally finally finally there was the prize presentation ceremony lol.
gosh i love it!!! it's so sweet & delicate & classy & elegant.
all the intricate details and the small swinging heart.
and the meaning behind it and the way it shows that we've so much to look forward to...
too bad i dont have a picture right now
i'll keep it to myself for a little while longer (:
