we love ion! i had freaking good meals over the weekend! salted duck soup on saturday, with the cold rain beating against the windows outside & the hot yummy soup inside my tummy. it was a damn good feeling. & the soup's really the best salted duck soup i've ever tried in singapore. consistent quality with every visit. too bad it's at pasir ris! cooked by a grandma ;p she cooked oyster omelette too! damn good. i watched & i know how to make!! carol wanna learn? hehe. sunday, we tried making the oyster omelette. could be improved.. had oxtail soup as well!! waaaah. indonesian style with the spiciness & pineapple tangy-ness. i miss my porpor's oxtail stew though. the thick gravy kind. awesome doesnt begin to describe it. and fresh fish caught live from shengshiong by the one and only fisherman lah. good food = drowsy people. i'm really happy to have a car. <3 |
